Expertise At Your Service

Corporate alumni networks have been our focus from day one, starting more than 10 years ago. In fact, we live and breathe corporate alumni programs so that we can share our knowledge with you.

Looking Forward with Excitement to a New Decade, a New Company

By Tony Audino, Founder & CEO of Conenza

With the prospect of not only a new year but a new decade before us, it’s tempting to spend some time reflecting on accomplishments. I’d rather look forward.

If you’ve kept up on the news from Conenza, you already know that on January 1, 2020, we’re joining forces with IntraWorlds to create a new company set to take talent engagement to the next level. There are a number of reasons why I am excited about what the merging of resources, experience and vision offers our clients.

We know that changing market forces are having an impact on how organizations interact with their employees. Increasing rates of retirements, shorter tenures, technology-enabled automation and social media have and will continue to shift workplace dynamics.  To succeed in today’s competition for talent, companies must focus on the employee experience at key moments in their career — recruitment, onboarding, development, offboarding, and after they have left to pursue other opportunities.

When I launched the Microsoft® Alumni Network, one of the first large-scale corporate alumni programs, more than 20 years ago, it was based on understanding the value of engaging employees for life to nurture brand ambassadors, create a strategic talent pool for rehires and referrals, and generate new business opportunities. Now, by combining with IntraWorlds, it’s thrilling to help organizations of every size and sector around the globe strategically foster talent engagement across the entire career lifecycle.

2020 promises to be the start of something big…stay tuned!
